Welcome First Graders to our beloved school — the one and only Deutsche Schule Jakarta!

On September 6th, DSJ celebrated the arrival of our new first graders in both the German Internal Program and the International Program. The entire primary student body gathered in our auditorium to give each newcomer a warm welcome. The stage came alive with captivating performances by the primary students, including dances, songs, a rap, and storytelling by our Primary and International Program Principals Pascale Mandel and Carmelita Cajumban.

Following the festivities, all the children posed for a group photo with their class teachers on our school hall stairs. Then, it was off to their classrooms for some ice-breaking activities. Meanwhile, the Principals shared important information with parents, who would later join their children for more memorable photo opportunities.

DSJ extends a heartfelt welcome to our new families, and we're thrilled to have you as part of our growing community. Wishing you all a fantastic and successful journey ahead!
