Dear DSJ community (and everybody else) 😊, In May of 2021, the former students of grade 12 (who have since then successfully graduated) created videos regarding different topics in the context of “The political or cultural dimension of art” during their English lessons. The students chose their topics themselves based on their knowledge and interests, some chose music, others chose other forms of art, two students even chose politics themselves. I have taught this year’s graduates since they were in grade 9. I have seen them struggle, improve, develop, and strive. For most, finishing the school career during lockdown has been a challenge and an additional burden and I am awfully proud of and impressed by their overall accomplishments. The following videos are only a few of the amazing products they have created over the years, but I wanted to share at least of few of them with the DSJ community and everybody else who comes across this blog. If you enjoy the videos as much as I do, please share this blog entry with friends and family members to give everybody the chance to watch them. Thank you very much, Cornelie Kuttig (Ms K), English teacher at DSJ
