Fransikus Daniel has been teaching Catholic Studies at the Deutsche Schule Jakarta since 2019. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Parahyangan and has been working as a teacher since 2010. His goal is to guide students both academically and personally, helping them grow with knowledge and character.
Mr. Daniel became a teacher because he considers it a privilege to share knowledge and be a meaningful part of students’ lives. The best moments for him are when students are excited and happy about learning — a true reward in his profession. What he appreciates most about DSJ is its positive and supportive environment, which encourages learning and strong community values. His pedagogical motto is: “Learning is a journey.”
Outside the classroom, Mr. Daniel enjoys sports and creating animated drawings. He also has a secret talent: acting — an ability that brings creativity and expression into his everyday life. One of his favorite quotes is:
“I think therefore I am” — René Descartes.
