Since April 2013, Diah Putri Pramiandari – Frau Uti has been working as a preschool teacher at the German School Jakarta (DSJ). She brings extensive education and long-standing experience to her work with young children. Frau Uti studied Multilingual Communication at the University of Applied Sciences Cologne in Germany and Teaching and Diversity in Early Childhood at Walden University in the USA. She has also completed additional training in movement pedagogy and at the “House of Little Scientists.”

Frau Uti became a teacher because she enjoyed working with children during her internship at DSJ. The most rewarding part of her job is watching the children grow and develop – some of them were once in her kindergarten class and are now high school graduates.

What makes DSJ special for Frau Uti is the strong sense of community, where students, teachers, and families collaborate closely, supported by the helpful school board. The multicultural environment enriches both teaching and daily life.

Her teaching motto is: “In teaching, you will learn,” reflecting her belief in the mutual learning process between teacher and children. In her free time, Frau Uti enjoys performing arts, dance, and traveling. Her favorite quote, “Dance brings happiness,” expresses her positive and joyful approach to life.

Frau Uti is a dedicated preschool teacher who enriches the lives of DSJ’s youngest learners with passion, experience, and joy.
