Since January 6, 2025, Ester Blumör has been enriching the team of the German School Jakarta with her enthusiasm for working with the youngest children. She completed her training as an early childhood educator at the Fachakademie für Sozialpädagogik in Bavaria and has been working in this field since 2015. Her decision to become an educator was inspired by her love of movement and her desire for a dynamic and meaningful profession.

For Frau Blumör, the most rewarding part of her work is seeing the children flourish and full of joy. She takes great delight in witnessing their development and accompanying them as they grow. What she particularly appreciates about DSJ is the openness to new ideas and the creative, supportive atmosphere, which she sees as a great benefit for both the children and the educational team.

Her teaching motto is: “If it works, keep doing it; if it doesn’t, let it go.” This pragmatic and flexible mindset helps her approach daily life in the nursery with calm, efficiency, and joy.

In her free time, she enjoys walking, traveling, and sailing. Her favorite quote – “Nature is the greatest book we will ever read” – reflects her deep connection to the natural world. One of her special talents is finding lost things – a skill that certainly comes in handy when working with little children.

With her energy, empathy, and warm personality, Frau Blumör brings positivity and care into the daily life of the DSJ nursery and enriches the school community in many ways.
