Hary Kristianto, also called Pak To, is a teacher at the Deutsche Schule Jakarta, teaching Physics and Mathematics. He studied at the Technical University of Hamburg (Harburg) and has been teaching at DSJ since 2020.



He became a teacher out of a desire to transfer his engineering knowledge to young students. The best part of his job is inspiring youths to love science and broadening their perspective on business. What he values most about DSJ are the laboratory facilities, which enable practical learning.

His pedagogical motto is: “Education is not the learning of facts, but rather the training of the mind to think.” In his free time, Mr. Kristianto enjoys reading, swimming, and playing basketball. His special talent is storytelling.
