Luisa Prawirakoesoemah has been a teacher at the German School Jakarta (DSJ) since 2023. After completing her studies at the University of Education Ludwigsburg, she taught German, English, and Computer Science before taking on the coordination of the Orientation Stage. Since February 1, 2025, she has also been serving as the Head of the Elementary and Primary School at DSJ.

Frau Prawirakoesoemah focuses on creating a learning environment built on trust, motivation, and individual support. Since 2015, she has gained extensive experience as both a classroom and subject teacher, with a special emphasis on intercultural, inclusive, and innovative education.

With a strong personal connection to Indonesia, she feels deeply connected to the country and its people. This bond shapes her approach to collaboration and intercultural understanding—values that are central at an international school like DSJ. She sees intercultural exchange not only as a source of enrichment but as a key foundation for holistic education and shared growth.

In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Frau Prawirakoesoemah actively contributes to the development of DSJ as a place for learning and growing together. She considers the cultural diversity and unique educational opportunities at DSJ to be its greatest strengths. Her educational motto, “Learning together, growing together,” reflects her belief that respect, openness, and motivation are essential for successful learning and harmonious coexistence.

In her free time, Frau Prawirakoesoemah enjoys trying new activities, traveling, cooking, and baking. Her favorite quote is: “There is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way.” – Buddha.
