Since 2025, Ms. Prilya has been working as a Primary Teacher at the German School Jakarta (DSJ), teaching English, Science, and Informatics. She has been teaching dance and English since 2018 and completed her studies in Dance Education at the State University of Jakarta — a creative foundation that enriches her work with young learners.

She became a teacher because she is passionate about sharing knowledge and helping children reach their full potential. What she loves most about her job is seeing her students excel and improve — those moments fill her with gratitude and joy.

What makes DSJ special for her is the multicultural learning environment, which encourages openness, tolerance, and continuous learning. Her teaching motto is: “Learn – Unlearn – Relearn,” reflecting her belief that learning is an ever-evolving process.

Outside the classroom, Ms. Prilya enjoys performing arts — dancing, singing, and playing musical instruments — as well as reading and writing. A fun fact about her: She can iron clothes extremely fast and very neatly — and finds it surprisingly therapeutic! Her favorite quote, “When you really want something, all the universe will conspire in helping you to achieve it,” by Paulo Coelho, inspires her every day.

With her creativity, warm personality, and dedication, Ms. Prilya brings enthusiasm into the classroom and encourages children to explore, learn, and grow.
