Rahma Wulan has been a Preschool Teacher at the Deutsche Schule Jakarta since August 2007. She teaches Bahasa Indonesia and Numeracy and graduated from UIN Jakarta. With many years of experience in early childhood education, she brings creativity, warmth, and a deep passion for learning to her classroom.
Ms. Wulan became a teacher because she loves children and believes that working with them highlights the importance of self-expression and supporting them in making positive choices in life. What she enjoys most about her work is having the chance to make a meaningful impact on a child’s development — nurturing their creativity, building the foundation for their future, and witnessing the joy when they master new skills. Every day brings smiles, fun, and discovery through play and creative learning.
What she values most about DSJ is the trust, freedom, and space for creativity that the school provides. Her educational motto is: “Teach, Love, Inspire.”
In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and doing DIY upcycled crafts. Her secret talent is sewing — turning something old into something beautifully new. Her favorite quote is:
“It takes a big heart to help shape little minds.”
