Rebecca Beyer studied at Friedrich Schiller University Jena and has been teaching since 2014. Starting in 2025, she will be teaching Mathematics and Physics at the German School Jakarta.

Frau Beyer became a teacher because she wants to share her enthusiasm for physics and inspire students to discover the beauty of science. What she enjoys most about her profession is working with young people and supporting them as they grow into young adults.

What makes DSJ special for Frau Beyer is its international yet family-like atmosphere, which fosters learning, curiosity, and openness. Her educational motto is: “Together, we can do it.”

In her free time, Frau Beyer enjoys immersing herself in the worlds of science fiction and fantasy – through books, films, or games – and she also loves staying active through various kinds of sports.
