On Friday June 3rd, this year's ceremonial certificates handover for the German International Abitur 2022 finally took place again on a large scale in the DSJ auditorium. After the welcome speech by the headmaster, Mr. Hoffmann, the speeches by the examiner, Mr. Reuther, and the German ambassador, Ms. Lepel, followed, before the Abitur certificates were handed out individually on stage.

Along with the certificates, the prizes for the best student in chemistry, physics and mathematics were also presented, all of which went to Kevin Baum. Congratulations on this! As the best of the year, Vanessa Baum shines with an excellent Abitur grade! Congratulations for this too! This year is characterized by an excellent, above-average overall score of 2.125.

After the handing over of the Abitur certificates, the very personal speeches of the class teachers Mrs. Balla and Mr. Müller followed, which was accompanied by a photo slideshow and piano accompaniment. Alternating with musical contributions from the DSJ band and the class 11, the class representatives Vanessa and Aurell as well as Maknaar addressed the audience in a very original way.

The farewell by class 11 was very emotional and individual. The high school graduates then ended the official part of the event with “My way” before it went straight into the unofficial part of the high school graduation ceremony in the neighboring Warung.

We wish the high school graduates all the best for the next chapter of their lives and look forward to them returning to the German School Jakarta from time to time. Don't become a stranger!
