On Friday the 28th January our Kindergarten welcomed the Year of the Tiger

It was exciting and very, very noisy, especially when the Barongsai visited us. Our children filled Ang Pau with play money and handed it to the Barongsai once his dance was over.

The kids then brought the Barongsai to life by themselves, dance-fighting each other while their friends made music as noisy as possible.

We also had prepared some traditional Chinese New Year snacks and watched a short movie about the origin of the celebrations and the scary Nian which looks like a lion.

Everybody had great fun!
